A Diamante is related to a cinquain, and is sometimes called a modern cinquain.
1. Noun being described, 1 word
2. 2 adjectives seperated by a comma that DO NOT end in ing that describes line 1,
3. 4 nouns seperated by commas that describe line 1,
4. 3 adjectives seperated by commas that DO end in ing that describes line 1,
5. A synonym for line 1.

Diamante,
Fun, Cool,
Adjectives, Nouns, Commas, Synonyms,
Interesting, Amazing, Writing,
Poem.

There are many different versions than this but this is the one I personally prefer. You can rhyme and should try to although I don't like to.  Say it out loud to make sure it flows. Good luck!
