A Helping Hand Forum Good story and characters, bad..

Hi everyone, I'm super new here. I am curious if anyone else sucks with grammar but is a strong writer. I'm not sure if that makes sense. I feel that I am good at creating interesting/complex characters, story line and plots but my grammar seriously needs work. I never knew while I was still in school why I didn't understand a huge amount of what I was forced to read. I later found out that I'm dyslexic and synestheic...so reading is not easy for me. Don't get me wrong, I love to read...I just take a lot longer and have to use tricks to do well. Because of this, I really don't remember anything from English classes throughout school. This is the main reason I often decline to share my writing with others...I am truly embarrassed. Does anyone else write good stuff but need a lot of help with their grammar? Is this a deal-breaker with getting your work out there? -_- Lol. I appreciate everyone's input! :) Thank you.
