fear no art

there is a phrase at the museum of contempary art in chicago, "fear no art"

this group is also promoting art literary, which is right up there with book literary, and very much neglected in school programs.

so if all you remember is Rodin's The Kiss (1886), the scupture of 2 naked lovers kissing, or Andy Warhol's Campbell's Soup Cans (1962), the myths behind the art need to be demysified.

for intense, Andy affer one of his art friends a $100.00 for his next idea of paintings.  and you gues it , it was, Cambell's Soups.

and that's how art history is born.

Hmm...Good topic. Isn't that how any piece of art starts? Something catches the creator's senses and a piece of art is born. Music, literature, visual art...everything has an inspiration and rarely does the listener/reader/viewer know from where that inspiration comes. The element of wonder is why art is art. That's why it is intriguing.
