Fantasy Unite! Forum Favorite Writers

I'm always interested in knowing people's inspirations to know them better. I'm not much of a poem writer, but I do like poems. Some of my favorite poets are Robert Frost and Edna Saint Vicent Millay. I also like Shakespeare a lot. His plays are always entertaining and the writing is so rich. My question to you guys is : Who's your favorite writer and why? 

I'm not much of a poet, either, but I happen to like Edgar Allen Poe and William Shakespeare. Their writings are so well written and filled with emotion, and they tell wonderful stories. I also like J.K. Rowling and Stephenie Meyer, not because of their writing, but because of their ability to create unique and unusual perspectives. But my favorite writer would have to be Scott Westerfeld because he is a wonderful writer and created one of the most unique books I have ever read.
