Happiness Group Forum What makes you happy?

What makes you happy? Please explain and tell us (:  

What makes me happy is knowing that I have impacted and helped others. Coming from someone that works at a school district,  I come into contact daily with kids whom I help and support in classrooms, whether they be special needs children or other classmates in general. I also enjoy knowing that people around me are happy because it makes me happy. As for myself I like knowing that in this moment I am happy, that I have thus far done things that I am proud of and that I have accomplished. Not wondering about the past or future, but focusing in on the present is what is making me happy in this moment. Yes, I do have things I need to worry about or improve, but taking it day by day and trying to stay calm is making me do more things for myself like write, read, listen to upbeat music, etc.
