Mla (music Loves Anonymous) Forum music keeps me calm

today i was flying home from chicago, where i was for a bit of a music festival... for what ever reason we had to circle the airport for 20 minutes before we landed... thank goodness i had my ipod with me or i would have been freaking out... I dont mind flying but i do get nervous... my tunes kept me calm... and tomorrow they will do the same... as i am off again... to finish out my vacation week....

same here, music can have a lot of power on me. I suffer from debilitating panic attacks, and I have a special playlist for those times when I can feel it coming. It helps a lot!

panic attacks... i had one of those today... as i was driving across a very large bridge... i hate bridges... i fear them... and this one caused my car to sway in the wind -- damn wind.... thankfully a good song came on and i somewhat controlled my fear by singing along and well speeding to the end of the bridge... where i was safe :)
