Simple as it is, do you, or don't you?

I believe in it to a certain extent. Some things are simply acts of fate, like if you are driving and a tree branch falls on your car. But falling in love isn't an act of fate. Meeting the person might be but the act of falling for them is your choice. Love usually comes along when you get to know them better unless it is at first sight. There are a few cases, like love at first sight, that might be fate but usually that happens because you see something in them.

It depends on what day you ask me this question.   I believe that if fate exist then how free can I truly be to make my own choices in life.  Fate to me suggests that certain things have been scripted for me long before I was here, thus I have no free will.  I believe in free will so I believe less in fate unless something happens that is uncanny so impossible and it has no other explanation except "fate".   So a lack of understanding on my part leads me to believe more in the fantasy of life instead of the facts.
