Poetry Challenge Forum New Challenge: Poems full of p..

When I write poems, I always like to find dark or sad memories and build off of them. As my first suggestion for a challenge, I would like to see some dark, gritty poems based off of painful memories from the past.

Very good poem. A powerful meaning and strong language and imagery. As a boy who has a recovering alcoholic mother, I think I have an idea of the pain and sorrow it must bring, although I have never gone through such harsh times. Thank you so much for participating :)
