How you feel poetry is perceived, in todays society.

How do you think it differ's from the other advanced art forms?
How does it affect your notoriety, and proportionately your sobriety?

Are we living out cycled lives of other artists that have come before?
Doomed to live and struggle through our achievements?

indebted solely with grievance

Are we to be as cherry as the child authors?
Bright and red with excitement

or as dark as those of feathered past?

I feel that poetry is not taken as seriously as it was before the internet, i believe people tend to look at poetry as just words on a paper or screen, when in reality, some people would consider it a message, reaching out to those in need, or simply a line of creativity that would inflict emotions on another person.Either way, poetry still effects people, it just takes alot for todays teenagers to get away from social media to actually read.

Poetry Is like prayer on steroids
Flashing out with truth and honesty
Beseeching and uplifting,
 caressing and attacking
It haunts and beguiles, while seduction is just
a natural by product

 of a good write.
