Rosana. Junior High Student, fan of literature and music. I enjoy writing in many genres of poetry, and I'm expirimenting with Haiuks, read some of my work, you'll find some that are poorly done and shouldnt even be posted, and otheres are great, in my opinion >_<

Hi ... I am Twilight Dancer :)

I love to read, write, various types of music, art, museums, nature, medicine, forencis and am an advocate for individuals with behavioral illness, victims of domestic/sexual abuse, the global state of the world in terms of peace, tolerance, and basic needs.  As I have stated in my poem 'Lone Rebel' ... I feel a great deal about many things, but  am good at nothing in particular.  I feel deeply - whether I am peaceful, happy, sad, frustrated, or angry.  Thank you for the invitation to join this group - I hope to find others like me and to give back some love, compassion, and hope in return.

Greetings  I am ivor 73 years young married to a talented poetess author and musician.  I write mainly formal poetry in many styles but I can apppreciate good writing in any form. I am retired and have the time to to indulge myself in writing almost full time I had my first poem published at 11 years old but I was over sixty before the next one was published.

I have been around the block a time or two and have varied memories on which I can draw. I served in the airforce and the police force I have held various posts in commerce andf business but spent the last twnty years of my working life as a social worker. Towards the end of my social work career I specialised in the care of the elderly and terminally ill I was a trained grief counsellor and worked in this area in a voluntary capacity.  That enough of my rambling but yoiu may be able to see where I am coming from  ivor aka poeticpiers

I am Siddartha but Sid is fine if it suits you better.  I have studied Art for the last 16 years - yikes, can't imagine it has been that long.  Been writing poetry since around the age of nineteen.  'A Reflection' is one of my first which is my featured work on my page.  I am an abstract sculptress, painter and printmaker as well as an Educator.  I was luckyt enough to be the Artist-In-Residence at a University in Virginia a few years ago where I was featured on PBS for my five minutes of fame.  Some of my favorite artists are:  Egon Schiele, Gustav Climt, Mark Rothko and even that old dirty fellow Pabl Picasso who according to a song I listened to in high school was 'Never called an a**hole'.  Although, I did in a poem on here once upon a time just because he said 'All I need from Africa is in the mask' and as an African-Art scholar I know that it is the Spirit BEYOND the mask that is the Truth.  I tend to follow Eastern and other philosophies although I am open to anything that seeks Enlightenment, Truth and Unconditional Love.  Blessings to all - and thank you for the invite.  Glad to be part of the group.
