Chris J. Fox

My name is Chris, and I am an unconventional geek. I love the normal geek things like Star Trek and video games, but deeper into my life and interests, I feel that I can be a very dark person. I try to let that show in my work, while sometimes mixing my own lightheartedness to the situation when I feel that it fits. I've been writing for a while, though I have yet to finish a story, simply because I don't want to write an average short story, I want to complete a full novel.

As for interests, I absolutely adore music, it has been one of my biggest influences. When a write, I like to put on music that fits the mood that I want to bring out in the section I'm working on; I feel it helps add more authenticity in the translation from my mind to the paper. I listen to any type of music, though in general I prefer electronica such as Aphex Twin and VNV Nation, rock of almost any kind, and dark classical composures. I also enjoy jazz and big band, accoustic, and a wide spectrum of other genres.
