This Moment

A moment in time, a captured happieness.

when I look into your eyes,
my heart falls at your feet.
when i hear your voice,
I am drawn in ...
hanging ...
on your every word.
I find myself unable,
& unwilling to stop it.
heedless & carefree,
not considering at all,
the uncertain future,
or where this will lead,
or how it might all end.

 

but oh!
just give me this moment,
of sheer bliss, of true love,
& I will be forever happy.

for this one single moment,
will be embeded forever,
in the depths of my memory, 
& it will become a treasure.
to hold inside this heart,
which will always hold,
a special place, just for you.
