Strangled Secrets

Pressure building behind doe eyes
Brows furrow, I want to scream
But can't make a sound...
Everything spinning, stable objects- now shifting
the sound of constant, but switching low growls
as wolves run 'round, how did they find me here?
Darkness moving in, greenery withering to black shriveled sap
earth, now a liquid as I sink in
it's thickness like a murky ebony swamp
Chest tightens
a strangled sound
gasping, reaching, nothing there
eyes struggle to see, as it swallows me whole
alone... shivering, cold
no one is coming
there's no one who knows
