Loneliness

Just a short poem I wrote when I was reflecting on my life the other night.

It is a lonely world we live in, although many of us have 'partners', we are never not lonely. there is always one or multiple things in our lives that makes us feel lonely, whether it be we don't have a partner down to the type of music we listen to. It is in our loneliness where we learn who we truly are, it is how we interact and treat others that are also looked upon...

It is a lonely world we live in,
People are put down for been different,
And yet we ' accept' those we like.
To like someone is to see them,
To love someone is to see past and into them.
Our music choices are taken into consideration,
Our hobbies as well.
Due to loneliness many take their own lives,
This is not true...
Everyone experiences been lonely,
it is our times of 'solo' that allows us to reflect,
Reflect on life,
To reflect on who we are, and if we want to change.
But no matter how hard we try, we will never not be lonely.

Yes. Loneliness is the key to discover happiness. Something ironic, yet it's true. We cannot determine when we are happy if we don't know it's difference when we are sad.

We are given the tests in life. Through this tests, we learned. We learned on becoming strong, understanding, considerate and patient.

So, it's right to reflect on our lives- our past and present, and maybe our future decisions to make which will help this life fulfilling.
