My Testimony

In the past I heard your voice

Yes, even in my youth

I didn’t care to heed your call

I know now there is only One Truth

 

Yet in the Dens of Lions, and through the Raging Storms

You never thought to leave me

But kept me safely in your arms

I dedicate my life to you, yes all my remaining days

My Love, my Life, my Song to You

To You I Give All Praise

 

Never have you forsaken me

You allowed me to just be me,

Now I’ve come to realize

What it means to truly be free

 

I dedicate my life to you

 You only will I serve

And continue on this journey

Until all the world has heard

Your Mercy endures Forever

It’s why we have this time

 

All is not what it seems

Seek first, Then ye shall find.

 

Wisdom, Patience, a Gentle Heart, these I knew not of

But the Greatest Gift I have from you is the Gift you gave of Love

 

My Praise is all I have to give, though nothing can compare

To the Gift you gave on Calvary for All the world to share

With every Breath you give me Life, you’ve done so all my days

With every Breath I give you Love

Beautiful song describing God's faithfulness and greatness. I know exactly how you feel - God has done many incredible things in my life, too. You wrote it excellently and I really enjoyed the read! Also, congratulations on obtaining the courage to frame your work and give it away as a gift.....
It's an excellent idea, actually...I think I might frame some of my work and give it away, too. Hmm...
