Battle Round

Battle Round

A Poem by Star Cross
"

...

"

I will not stand down,

The blood running down from the corners,

Of my lips, my nose, from my cheeks,

My focus will never be lost.

I will not stay down on the ground,

The dust may cover my eyes,

My fists clenched in pain,

I will brush myself off.

No matter how many rounds

I must fight through,

Through the tears and broken ribs,

There is eventual victory.

And there is no one that can take that title away from me.

Always persevere!
I love this! I can feel the same stubbornness in myself often. Good work
