An Angel's Healing

I had been sitting in the meadow by a stream,
thinking how I used to always dream.
Never once had I been able to conquer my goals,
had fallen in love and could never let them go.

Instead, my life had been full of broken
promises that had been made to me,
An unhappy future ahead, it had been
the only thing in life I had been able to see.

I never had been at peace
with one single thing,
because I had only felt
deaths awful sting.

During the night, I had finally fallen asleep,
when I had felt something touch me softly.
There knelt an Angel praying for only me,
had been there to fully heal me physically.

My heart that had been broken,
began to overflow with joy once again,
The unsettled feeling I once had,
had been replaced with peace deep within.

Emotionally and mentally been drained,
because of negativity.
Now I had been fully healed at last,
filled with positivity.

Before he had gone away,
this was the last thing he had said,
Your tears have been wiped away,
the path to a new life is just ahead.

God had already forgiven you
for your sins.
You have been fully cleansed
Deep within.

The hope you had lost,
at last has been found.
Your faith has now been restored,
Satan no longer has you bound.

He had then disappeared from me
everything had been made clear that night.
Deep down I knew something had to be done
wouldn't be an easy choice, but I'd be alright.
