Forbidden Treasure

Forbidden Treasure

A Poem by AllauraRose
"

Somethings aren't meant to be and something are just to complicated.

"
To something you can't have
A forbidden treasure
One you thought you could
Till it was banned forever

Wanting it, but not going for it
Tip Toeing around the law
But just slightly taking it
Becuase you know someone has already won it

Staying in the shadows
Helping in the background
But all you are doing is getting it for another
The pain slowly stopped to hurt, until it all came back

Thought you could live
But you just died inside
Wondering if there is anything else
But nothing  matches the price

Knowing it will never get back to you
You start to lose hope
But still wishing for that small chance it will appear
Only kidding yourself to believe in such a dream

For a teenager, you are an awesome writer! This poem is really well-written and speaks such truth. Is it about a relationship issue in which you wanted something so bad but couldn't have it? I absolutely love this poem. 10 out of 10. Great job!

Thank you so much! Yes, you are correct, but it is open for people to take it how they want to .
