Overboard

looked at the surface of my sea

could not point out where you'd be

you see the tide is slowly rising

navigate to the house of lightning

cause you refuse to see my dark

not to look at my heavy ark

turn my ship into a raft

turn the tide into my foe

every lighthouse stopt to glow

you sail away on a good wind

and I am left destined to sink

I knew the waves would swallow me

it was just about time to be

so now I dive back in the deep

looked at the surface of my sea

but didn't mind the underneath
