Pain

Pain...

 

Its such an emotional word..

 

its sensual

 

Its regretful

 

Its hypnotizing

 

it can drive us crazy

 

it can make us do things we

never thought we could do.

 

It can make us bleed

 

It can make us die..

 

But most of all

 

It can make us see the true meaning of LIFE

I guess to see the true meaning of life as you put it, we have to go beyond the sunshine and rainbows of life and delve deeper into the things that hurt us most. Just make sure you can appreciate the good things in life too :) A good poem! Rolls off the tongue easily :P
