You were there, Always shining your light,
You were that one star that shined so bright.
Your heavenly words gave wisdom to my mind,
You gave me that push, when it was the right time.
From your sacrifice to my lips,
To the blood that runs past my hips.
During the good times and the bad, you were there all the while,
From the times I was lost, when I was just a young child.
I could never forget, that you are my lord,
Like the sharpness of a knife or a shiny new sword.
You are the blood in my veins, and the air that I breathe,
My life is now complete, for you are all that I need.
