Stop Time�

There’s no hope of making it out of this love,
You have my heart caged, like the last dove.
It’s like an ice cube trying to fight off the sun,
Or a runner, who’s forgotten how to run.
You’re the reason I never second guess,
I now know that my life is truly blessed.
You make me feel so unimaginably alive,
I have been through the storm and I survived.
Inside out I want us to be complete,
Never giving in to the option of defeat.
The hold you have on me can never be replaced,
This love is real and will never be disgraced.
I feel you close even when you are far,
I see images of us when I look up to the stars.
I feel you breath on my lonely neck,
While, I dream of us bathing on a sun deck.
Your hand in mine,
As we stop time.
