A Daughter’s Poem

Mother

A girl’s best friend

Know us Love us more

Compassion

Delight in her voice

“Another day is a beginning

All is well

In the world we live”

Her words

Always your daughter

Always your mom

Deeply connected

Rooted into each other

Two of us

One roof

Remembering earlier years

Became friends

Now today,

Independent of one another

Children of our own

Deepen our connection

Our love

She is the one

Who loves me without limits?

Understanding my Mother and

Her beautiful gift

Our laughs

Our smiles

A passing of more than a phone call

But a gift of our love
