Forever

Forever

A Poem by Draven

There she sleeps before my eyes.

I can feel her every breath,

though our hearts may never touch.

Minutes pass the tears pour down.

I want to reach out into her world,

a world thats not my place to be.

I dont belong in her world....

*Please Forever, last forever.

Let this moment never end.

Cary me intop a place

beyond the grasp of time

so I can be by her forever.

As the minutes come to pass,

the pain it only grows.

Yet I plead for them to stay.

My heart bleeds to her image,

but my lips still twist to form a smile.

I beg for time to slow its course

if only for a while.

*Please Forever, last forever.

Let this moment never end.

Cary me intop a place

beyond the grasp of time

so I can be by her forever.

Time let us go.

Leave us alone.

Time let us be

so I may see her.

She holds my heart.

Tear me apart.

Time let us go.

Leave us alone.

Only in my dreams she stays,

where I can be by her forever.

*Please Forever, last forever.

Let this moment never end.

Cary me intop a place

beyond the grasp of time

so I can be by her forever.

Lovely and quite touching.
I agree with writingfox...sleeping with someone, but not "sleeping with them" is very special....watching someone sleep is seeing them without their barriers....amazing piece

No judgement hon. You aren't actually related after all:) This was an excellent poem. I was curious about what the line "My heart bleeds to her image" explain? My favorite part was time leave us alone. Oh how I have wished that time could freeze around us sometimes. There is something almost spiritual and very deep about watching someone sleep. Hearing their breath, seeing them unconscious and in such a natural state. Sometimes I think sleeping with someone not "sleeping with someone" is more special. Well done, you got me thinking. That impresses me.

Awe such love to adore someone, especially while watching them sleep before you. Nice write, such feelings in this and your author's note. :)

I think you have a few words needing correction in this line that you used more then once in repetition:
Carry me into a place
"Cary me intop a place"

No judgement here, my heart does cry with yours though. Such a predicament to be in. I cannot even begin to imagine the pain. You have expressed yours very well.

I can feel your pain when reading this, in wanting time to stand still and to just be present in her world in an adoring way where no complication exists and you can watch her and love her in your own way... well written... no judgement! :)

Aww this is really sweet. :) A tear fell out of my eye when reading this. You should show it to your stepsister, maybe she has the same feelings for you too.
