Twilight

Twilight

A Poem by Aria

Soon we will be found, among these snowswept fields and frosted waters
Covered in your warmth, lost in your eyes, I have been found
Asleep in my embrace, in this bed of diamonds
I feel your lips and your smile
Still feeling the heat from our fire inside as we kiss
Soon we will be found, amidst this myst of painted air
And flawless stones dancing around us with the piercing wind
As the moon fades away, taking the blanket of blue out of play
The sun will begin to rise and open our eyes
To the moment in time where we will wake from this winter slumber and remember, only remember
That we have been found, forever bound
Free from the shadows and the ice
Their Queen had no power over ours

About
I don't do well with talking about myself so I will simply say that my writing sets the stage for my imagination to play. But more than that, every piece I write, whether a poem or novel, is a bit of .. more..
