Storm

Storm

A Poem by Aria

Keep your gaze on me
Watch me walk closer

Look at the body you broke
See the blood you spilled
See the throat you had to choke
Look at this death that you willed

Keep your gaze on me
Watch me walk closer

Hear the screams that echoed from this ride
Cry the tears that pierced through my eyes
Feel the cold you left inside
See me tremble from your hopeless tries

Keep your gaze on me
Watch me walk closer

Watch me

Taste the burnt flesh cooked in your fire
See the broken heart I hold in each blood-stained hand
Speak the words worthy only of a liar
See me cut you away strand by strand

Keep your gaze on me
Watch me walk closer

Watch me

See the bruised lips you would kiss gently
See the splintered body you would yearn to feel
See the blurred eyes you would see clearly
See the life of the love you had to steal

Keep your gaze on me
Watch me walk closer

Watch me hold his body
See him kiss my mouth
Watch me smile into his eyes
As you see my love for you fall to the ground as it dies

Watch me......

Great imagery.
You surely expressed your pain at a high standard into this, and I enjoyed reading it a lot.

Damn. The ending through me into complete surprise. overall, a great piece, thought out and structured, but its kind of fucked up to do that to a guy. i know because that just happened to me.

I don't do well with talking about myself so I will simply say that my writing sets the stage for my imagination to play. But more than that, every piece I write, whether a poem or novel, is a bit of .. more..
