-the memories have lingered for long
of course it is trivial to conquer thoughts
now the battle stipulations have transformed
for the retrospects have materialized
old enemies are born anew
can they be vanquished
can they be overcome
if they may be defeated would they resurface
i have always believed anything is achievable
though the reality of my predicament is maddening
have i reached the point of no return
is this the end of me
i think not
alas i see a light at the end of this tunnel
reaching it may be burdensome but feasible
often times they push me down
this time i shall abound-
