No bitterness to spare

No bitterness to spare

A Poem by Krithika Raghavan
"

A poetess without any inspiration, surely that's worse than death?

"

My shadow deserted me one day

And my poetry failed to write

I could but use lips to pray

And hope for hope bright

Pieces of poetry left forlorn

Looking sad and undigested on paper

Tear smudges would adorn

What time only corrodes later...

Wonderings of the ancient world

And history is so accursed

Wisdom can never ever be so pearled

Drowning watercan be immersed.

Insane thoughts only fill my mind

The brain has no power here

If I was searching for what I find,

I would have no bitternes to spare.

Don't feel bad dear poetess for we all experience our writer's block and then we become frustrated. Some are mild , some are severe. Prayer is good like you said, meditation on life , find inspiration in nature and people ... Even the negative can be one not just the positive.
Well penned piece...:)

Not finding inspiration to write about not finding inspiration to write. Wow, that, is what writing is all about to me. have no ideas popping into your head, so instead of being bitter about it, you write about it.

THank you for the wonderfully woven comment..
this is really interesting because you speak of trauma without bitterness, a particular, yet reflective, psychologcal-emotional state of being, nicely described

For this is a illness if ever so we all as writers have had time and time again and we get frustrated when trying to make the puzzle pieces fit. Very good depicting the aggravating circumstance of writer's block for this is one of the many different experiences we all face as always keep writing fellow writer.

Wow, you have some impressive writer's block! :) I found it very enjoyable! ......as earlier stated "it is a better way, to take the writer's block away" (paraphrased as that might be!) :)
