Depression: an acrostic

Deep in your soul is this ache that

Encompasses your entire being; a 

Pain that takes control. It

Reaches out and covers like a blanket,

Enveloping you in agony,

Slowly taking reality,

Silently destroying you and

Inhibiting you from living. 

Once this madness starts it will 

Not loosen its grip without a fight.
