Battle!!!

 When the games are done.
 When the battles are over.
 When the rain stops.
 When the war is done.
    Then what?

 What happens next?
For all you knew was to stand and fight,
now you have won.

 All i have left is nothing,
 Fall to my knees, defeated.
 Broken, and tired.

 You have all the glory.
 You get to wear your sliver star. 
 You get to have your name in honor.
  You are the star.

Have your glory,
be the star.
but one day we will stand face to face,
we will see you stands, and who falls.  
This battle might be done, but the war is far from over.

I will take back my heart, for you have ripped away!

[Coyote Poetry]

The poem tell a true story. The Native Americans have a saying. "We do not hold on to hate. We live for the present. In our heart we have not forgotten the pain of the past. We cannot forget the deeds done to our brothers and sisters for our land. The land is blood soak in our elders blood. Never to be forgotten." I like the reason and the purpose for the poem. No winners in war except the sellers of guns and bullets. Thank you for the excellent poem.
