was it a dream?

 

dream of falling

flying backwards

in this time

in a different place

feeling like Alice

 

Dandelions fast asleep

under my feet

tip toe around

silent as the night

 

on my way

i spotted a owl

he didn't seem to

notice i was around

until his big blue eyes

found mine

 

he ask me what i was doing

in this place

i simple told him

that im clueless

he whispered something

i could not follow

before i could

he was gone before

the night

 

i wonder around

scared and frightened

until a i stambled upon

a door,

clueless as ever i walk

around, the door was

not appeared to be on

the other side, circle

back i see red sign

Exit if you will

 

door swung open

as if someone turn

the knob

there i see on the other

side was me, sleeping fast

in my bed.

how could this be,

if i was there then how was i here

the door slam shut and disappeared.

Maybe it wasn't a dream and you were having an outer body experience. It did remind me of Alice and the rabbit hole in wonderland, but dreams are much like that, they make sense when we dream them but less sense when we remember them. Interesting write and enjoyed.

A interesting poem. In the Native American belief. A owl by your window means death is near. I like the many stories in your dreams. Dreams are the highways to real life if we try to understand them. I like the ending to this excellent poem.
