Someday

Someday I will no longer
hear this silent darkness
and see that dark silence.

Someday those voices
will no longer scream
inside my head.

Someday my wounds
will heal and disappear
will these scars too.

Someday I will grow
my own wings and
fly in the open sky.

Someday I will know
enough words to tell
my stories to the world.

Someday
I too will be loved.
I too will be happy…
