A Child's Dream

A Child's Dream

A Poem by Ralphy
"

Sometimes it's not visible

"
A child’s dream
is no more than a whisper to our ears,
to hear each word
you must listen closely.

To envision that dream
we must look deep
deep into the reflecting twinkle
of their eyes.

For disguised in the wall of a tear,
it is not just the love of a parent.
Each child clings to the hope
in their friendships.

A friendship that ignites
their passion
for such hopes…
love and adventure

To envision that dream
we must look deep
deep into the reflecting twinkle
of their eyes.

as adults we can take lessons from kids on allowing the dreams to flow without walls or fences... is seems once we lose our innocents we built those fences from disappointment and make walls of jaded bricks.

Invisible yet visible
Marking our progress
From the smallest child
To the wisest adult
Which we take for granted
Without realizing its' magical quality
In our daily lives
Until too late
When it is no more part of us.
