Still I Look At You

Still I Look At You

A Poem by BlakPrince
"

love is renewed daily in my heart

"

Still I look at you with bright love in my eyes,

like bright love good husbands have for their wives

to whom they vowed holy matrimony

in less words, more deeds, faith, joy, harmony,

when hate can't break love-laced marital ties

that survive schemes, envy, gossips and lies

in this age divorce rates are on the rise.

Faithfully let's pray for our love. Gratefully

still I look at you.

For your loving voice in my ears inspires

like the sweet tune of the song-bird that flies.

The voice of love is the sweetest symphony,

and you're the soulmate Heaven sent for me.

So touched by love (with joyful surprise),

still I look at you.

I like this poem. The way you say that you still look at your soulmate as if to say that time has not diluted the connection that bonds you both. Its beautiful, praying for your relationship is like swimming against the tide, against the sad norm of divorce. I wish more couples would cherish the marriage that God blessed them with. Mark 10:9

Ah, that's one of the most wonderful of things. You don't ever get tired looking at the very same face of that special person. Your love for them only increases with every other look. This was so tenderly written. Good job!
