Isolation

Isolation

A Poem by Mark Witterick

‘Isolation’

Trapped.

Alone.

Again.

I know this cycle,

Tis my daily bread.

I see no changes,

Till my eternal bed.

Darkness.

Rest.

Avoidance.

The struggle no use,

I can never escape,

The noose it beckons

My mind again awake.

Rise.

Return.

Suffer.

This time it succeeds,

My goal finally achieved.

Is it what I wanted?

Too soon to say…

definitely felt the despair, been there. great, short, and flows well. it shows your tone very well, a new favorite.
