Only One Question

Only One Question

A Poem by Breeza

I was planned,
so, I can’t understand
why.
You tossed me high
up, up, up
touching the ceiling,
dust flutters as shoulders jar.
They watch in horror,
praying you won’t miss.
I cried and screamed
you didn’t come back.
Novelty gone,
a toy- no longer played with.
Did you stop to kiss me goodbye?

Such a deeply moving, sad write about the loss of a parent's love... Your question without an answer leaves us with such a bitter taste of tears and pain. So beautiful...
