UnhavenA Poem by Burr the Story SorceressI was given an extra credit assignment to copy the structure of 'The Raven' by Edger Allen Poe. This is the verse I came up with. Its my 'The Raven' sploof. Here I sit alone to wonder, ponder at my hopeless fonder. As I wait to travel in that place were I keep all I hold dear; Seeking what I left behind, left because I sought to find my mind. A search that made me bind the kind of words that you at long last hear, A strong bind to hide the kind of words that at long last you now hear. This is sad and that is clear. © 2008 Burr the Story SorceressFeatured Review
