*Smooches*

Good morning love

I pray 

that high speed connections 

can connect us briefly 

for a morning chat

from this Brooklyn bedroom

seeing as how

I've never told you 

I adore

the

martian within 

...you...

come coat  

me in red fairy dust

fairly dusting my dreams of

us sipping mojitos 

sitting on Saturn's rings

swirling fingers 

around rims of shot glasses

chasing away 

space debri 

formally known 

as our past

---let's have a blast---

playing 

ring around the galaxy

sliding 

across milky ways 

attempting 

to steal home base

tumbling 

head first into big dippers

still chipper

dusting off knees

& re clasping your Orion's belt

making 

haste like Mercury

rushing 

to moonwalk on the Sun

we'll have fun 

& when we finally decide

to come back to Earth

snuggled on top of blankets

stargazing

 

still giggling 

about being space troopers

I'll point to the north star

whispering

"You still shine brighter in my eyes"
