~Musings from the Heart of an Impassioned Daydreamer~

A Story by Cascara (aka Sprint Goes Cascading!)
"

~...running amok into fields of reveries, and getting lost inside myriads of fantasies...~

"

Just try searching for a fellow daydreamer, and ask her, “Why do you act like the way you do? Why do enjoy getting trapped inside your own little world?” I promise you, she will definitely get caught up in a deep little speech on the wonders of daydreaming. This girl will prove to you why the loneliness of recluse is a loyal and joyous companion at valuable times like these. She will explain to you how fun it is to see another imaginary little world, all inside your own head, and start blabbing about the drama and passion seeping through your own blood and veins once you begin interacting with these fantastic little mirages. She will also say that daydreaming is like a magnetizing oasis for the lost souls, the ones which are stuck inside a world of unpleasant or blasé realities: once you get caught up into a tantalizing, mesmerizing, and tangible daydream at times like these, you may struggle and hesitate to come out. Clearly, your mind is full of blissful utopias and journeys to Wonderland on cloud nine, and this means your most joyous emotions have surely reached their intentions of pulling you into an irresistible atmosphere, covered in rays of bliss.

However, the daydreamer won’t forget to remind you about the dark side of this guilty little pleasure, the side which can bring out the devils and demons seeking a refuge inside our fragile little minds. These vile creatures prey on our darkest, most sinister emotions, and won’t hesitate to corrupt our precious little minds, which are intended for otherwise wonderful oases of ecstasies. If these vicious little heathen from the pits of Hell come out to haunt you, then it means the voracities of your strongest, most painful emotions have definitely reached their highest peaks. You and your embittered thoughts merge as one: you can feel the hurtful nostalgia enveloping your pupils and irises, and paint you through with the starkest depictions of hurt and loss. If Fate can conjure up these horrifying voyages, then surely your thoughts have welded the infinite potential these surreal reflections can have over you, inviting in your deepest plights...

When the daydreamer is finally enervated by the breadth of her words, she will whisper to you, “Come with me, my sweet, and linger upon the myriad of my footsteps...dance and tinker with the melodies of your heart...relish in your musings, bask inside their sunlight, and feel their burns...dream away, of anything, or any fantasy your heart desires, with hungry eyes…even pain can be cherished while breathing in and embracing another life...take my hand and join another realm with a changeling like me...come hither with me, to touch the fields of passing wanderlust…”

I enjoy daydreaming but sometimes, the demons and the devils do creep into my fantasies. The way you have put the whole idea into words is outstanding. The dream-like quality definitely pervades your work and there is a sense of the mind reach far and beyond into the light as well as dark pits of dreams and fears.

Really enjoyed reading this. Keep it up. :)

Daydreaming as daydreamers do, takes us to places within our own minds delivering us with thought provoking ideas, inspirational messages, tales of emotions that we might dare share. A wonderful write. I get lost in my daydreams and my day dreams get lost in me. Thanks for this lovely write.

Oh my!...I believe I have found another treasure of a write!...You have written an astounding display of what daydreams can bring forth within our imagination, especially when one gets lost in the reverie of it all... I must admit, I did get lost in your words...no matter the consequences, I would still love to visit again and again... Beautifully written!
