It dies and the other rises.

It dies and the other rises.

A Poem by Cheng Yew,Chew

The sparkling-

orb is waning in-

the heavens and-

the sorry plight of dawn-

draws nigh.

Gazing at the starry sky-

that bears a close resemblance-

to the image i dost not defy with-

parables Conspiracy loves to heed-

wholeheartedly with infatuation-

the exhortation bestowed by-

Honesty denies to dwell with,embrace-

with and enfold with ,silently with no-

strife.

To Woe and Grief, the mournful dawn-

wilt be dusk of Hale and Hearty I dost not-

handle with care but a golden heart towards-

the salvation that saves me from merciless affliction

gaudy summit loves.

So many strong statements in this poem. I had to read a few times. A powerful ending to a outstanding poem.
