Everyday

Everyday

A Poem by snapstache

Sitting alone,

With a book in my hands,

Wondering how,

My life took such a turn.

I used to be funny

I used to be cool,

I used to have friends,

I used to rule the school.

Now all I have,

Is silence,

And books,

Now all I have,

Are scared looks

Everyday,

When I walk down the halls,

I feel this judgment,

This thing that eats me alive.

Everyday,

I try to climb out,

But, it seems,

My life has been confined,

To a bowl.
