CHRISTINA (SHE IS THE ONE)

 

Christina is a breath of spring to me;

She has made the stormy winter go away;

She is daffodils and roses

And the warm blue sky, above;

She's my true love.

 

     She is what love means to me;

     I need her close, in my arms;

Author's Note

Dennis and I were camping and I had gone out to do a multitude of errands. When I got back to the campground parking lot, I heard him singing something that I had never heard, before. I sneaked close to our site, in the shadows and behind trees and bushes. I listened for a long time, while he was working out the music and lyrics to this song. When he stopped, I went back and came down the path to our site. So he thought, he then surprised me with this song.
