Questions

Questions

A Poem by Mason Rayburn

If what I said
Could reach you today,
I wonder if
You would have been swayed.
If wrongs were righted
And old wounds healed,
Would good overcome
And the evil be sealed?
Can understanding be reached
When people choose ignorance?
Can the fallen be awakened
From their deathly trance?
If my questions had answers,
Would I be satisfied?
Or would I think of new ones?
Satisfaction denied.
You suppose there's a point
To understanding each other?
Is it better to love
Or to hate your brother?
Does rhyme always have reason?
Do leaves always fall in season?
Let's rewind.
Get back to my question:
Is it better to learn
Or stay in regression?
