Butterfly Wings

Butterfly Wings

A Poem by CoconutSprinkles08
"

A poem about life and God

"
A thrust in your chest for the beginning of time.
A girl who's ideas fall straight out of line.

A wish for a dream wrapped up in stardust.
A making of things for strength and distrust.

See nothing of you, for all of her.
A lie will destroy all things, she's sure.

What you believe, she's knows so well.
What you said, why she fell,

"Things in between truth and lie,
Are things at best, dead butterfly."

She sparkles her wings for a chance at flight.
You clip her wings for a chance to be right.

With an evening sun gone to rest,
All you believe are things at best.
