Summer

This poem is about what Summer is to me.

I wait for it every year,

but when it finally gets here,

I have no idea what to do.

It happens to lots of us,

but we find a way to cope.

What I like about summer really is the warm weather I see everyday.

Even though there is a little rain in the mix,

summer is what I look forward to no matter what the weather.

I think it's pretty obvious you don't live in Texas. Actually, I like warm weather, and I also look forward to summer, but when the temperature goes into three digits, I wonder what I thought was so great about it.
