I Shake My Head

I Shake My Head

A Poem by Corbin Driver

I shake my head at the terrible doings of others.
Like, the killing and discrimination unto
other people.

I shake my head
at the fake sorrow some give;
pretending to care about another
ones feelings.

I shake my head
at the meaningless promises.
Promises that many say they will keep,
but throw away in the end.

I shake my head
at the useless fighting between people;
fights that never prove anything.

I shake my head
at the horrible place this world
is starting to become.
