Nowhere to Hide

Nowhere to Hide

A Poem by Courtney

Demons can enchant you with a kiss

As they suck away at your soul.

With captivatingly gruesome bliss,

Their crimson eyes seek full control.

Fooled by their deadly, beauteous charm

You bare them your soul with no fear.

Although deep down worry rings alarms

Your trust in them will keep you near

Beneath the thin surface lies the truth;

Their razor teeth and eyes aflame

Are salivating for stolen youth,

And itching for your mind to claim.

Gaining your trust, you let them inside

They know your scent, there's nowhere to hide.

Courtney your poems are too good to always be so short. Please write longer poems.
