I live in Hong Kong, China, where Chinese New Year is probably the most important festival to the people. Red lights are seen everywhere and an atmosphere of joy covers the whole city -- these are all beautifully reflected by this wonderful haiku. As a Chinese, I'm glad that you enjoy the festival and wrote this lovely poem for it! :)

I like the artwork and the description. I like the Chinese New Year celebrations. Each is different and had a new feel to them. Thank you for the excellent poetry.
