My Phlegmatic daughter

My Phlegmatic daughter

A Poem by Cutmyhairplease
"

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

"

I don’t believe that poetry exists

I saw my favourite record

roll across the pavement

I took polaroids

because of the white border

And I once kissed someone

because I was hungry

I seem to be indifferent to my fingernails

And as I watch them grow

I worry

I think my

I can’t close my eyes at will

Is this a problem

In life

Please answer

I’m only looking for disconnections

To make sure reality is as chimerical as

This event horizon

And it travels vertically too

(Its black as well as blue)

If I wrote something hysterical

People would tell me

‘Answer not in questions’

And then I would walk home
