Alone I sit. (Poem)

Alone I sit. (Poem)

A Poem by Damien Davison
"

Cold eyes watch as you slowly fade away...

"
Cold eyes watch as you slowly fade away
Cold nights, wishing that we could of made the choice to stay

Instead, here alone I sit
Longing for companionship
Choices made, so what is this
Guilt weighs heavy on my conscience

I thought I lost it
But it's never been in my hands
I know I caused it
We were never meant for true romance

Not your fault, who's is it
Not our problem, guess who this is
That's our daughter, now stuck in this
F**k a condom, lets have a kid

Not that I would ever take it back
Just wish it was with someone it could've lasted with instead.
